Who we are
Baum Audio is a Danish company based in Aarhus. We make the ellipse™ — a wired, closed-back studio headphone built for musicians, producers, and serious listeners. We sell directly to customers across the EU through baumaudio.com.
Placing an order
When you add a product to your cart and complete checkout, you are making an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send you an order confirmation by email. That email is your receipt — keep it.
If something goes wrong (a product sells out, a payment fails, or we spot an error in the price), we will contact you before processing anything further. You will never be charged for something we cannot deliver.
Prices and payment
All prices on baumaudio.com include VAT for EU customers. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Your card is charged when you place the order — not when it ships.
If you are ordering from outside the EU, import duties and local taxes may apply. These are your responsibility and are not included in our prices.
Delivery
We aim to ship within 1–3 business days of your order. Delivery times depend on your location and the carrier, but most EU orders arrive within 3–7 business days.
You will receive a tracking link when your order ships. If your order is delayed or something goes wrong in transit, contact us and we will sort it out.
Returns and your right to cancel
You have 30 days from delivery to return your ellipse™ if you change your mind — no questions asked. See our full Return Policies for details on how returns work and what condition the product needs to be in.
EU law also gives you a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Our 30-day policy is more generous than this minimum.
If something is wrong with your product
If your ellipse™ arrives damaged, develops a fault, or is not what you ordered, contact us at hello@baumaudio.com. We will make it right — whether that means a replacement, a repair, or a refund.
Under EU law, you have a 2-year right to complain (reklamationsret) for defects that existed at the time of purchase. This is separate from our voluntary 30-day return window.
Warranty
The ellipse™ comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover normal wear and tear, physical damage caused by the user, or damage from misuse.
Our liability
We are responsible for what we sell you. If something we do causes you a loss, we will address it. However, we are not liable for indirect losses — for example, if a delayed delivery causes you to miss a session booking.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under EU or Danish law.
Your data
We collect and process your personal data to fulfil your order and communicate with you. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved between us will be handled by the Danish courts, unless EU consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country — in which case that right is not affected.
