Refund policy

30-Day Home Trial

We want you to be certain before you commit. That is why we give you 30 days from the date of delivery to try the ellipse™ at home — in your studio, at your desk, on your couch. If it is not right for you, send it back.
To start a return, email us at hello@baumaudio.com with your order number. We will reply within one business day with return instructions.


What we ask of you

We ask two things during the trial period:
1. Keep all original packaging. The box, the hard case, the cables, and any accessories must be returned with the headphones. If packaging is missing or damaged, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in resale value.

2. Treat the product with care. You are welcome to listen extensively — that is the point. But the ellipse™ must be returned in the same condition it arrived in. Signs of physical damage, scratches, or odours may result in a partial refund.
Think of it as borrowing from a friend who cares about their gear.


Return shipping

Return shipping is at your own cost. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for packages lost in transit. We do not accept returns sent to parcel lockers — please ship directly to our address, which we will provide when you initiate the return.


Refund

Once we receive and inspect the returned headphones, we will process your refund within 14 days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable.
If the product shows signs of use beyond normal trial (damage, missing parts, altered condition), we reserve the right to deduct an amount reflecting the reduction in value.


Your statutory rights (EU)

In addition to our 30-day home trial, EU consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of delivery under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). This right applies regardless of our policy above and is not restricted by it.
Under Danish law (Forbrugeraftaleloven), you also have a 24-month right to complain (reklamationsret) for defects that were present at the time of purchase. If a defect is covered under this right, we will cover the cost of return shipping.


Defective or damaged on arrival

If your ellipse™ arrives damaged or develops a fault within the first 30 days, contact us immediately at hello@baumaudio.com. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.


Warranty

The ellipse™ comes with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. This does not cover wear and tear, physical damage caused by the user, or damage from improper use.
